The Yard Waste Collection Recycling Program is a service now being provided by Buckingham Township as an on-going effort & commitment to recycling.

Please read all information

BAGS MAY BE PICKED UP AT THE TOWNSHIP ADMINISTRATION OFFICE

during regular business hours 7:30am - 4:30pm

Monday through Friday

Limit of Five (5) free bags per residence & address must be given.

Additionally we will be collecting bundled branches & tree limbs

• You must first notify the township @ 215-794-8834 of a pickup

• All Bundles must be secured with biodegradable rope

• tree limbs must measure no more then 3" in diameter & not longer then 36" in length

on Monday, April 28th by 7 am

 Bags & Bundled items must be curbside for pickup at the address given when you picked up the bags

ONLY LEAVES & PLANT MATERIAL MAY BE PLACED IN THE BAGS FOR RECYCLING

ONLY BRANCHES AND LIMBS CAN BE BUNDLED FOR CURBSIDE PICKUP

By observing the following simple rules, you can all help assure that collection is timely & thorough:

1.     DO NOT mix trash or other debris with leaves & plant material. Non-vegetative debris does not decompose & interferes with the composting process.

2.    Residents can ONLY use the 40 gallon biodegradable paper bags provided by the Township for this recycling effort. You will be asked to give your name & address when you pick up the bags at the Township Office.  Please DO NOT use cardboard boxes or plastic bags, as these WILL NOT be picked up.

Residents who WISH may dispose of their BAGGED leaves & garden debris at the

Buckingham Township Maintenance Building, Upper Mountain Road between 10am & 12pm on

April 26th & 27th 2008. Leaves may not be disposed of at this location after this time.

 Residents who MISS the pick-up time may dispose of their BAGGED leaves & garden debris at the Buckingham Township Maintenance Building, Upper Mountain Road between 10am & 12pm on Saturday, May 3rd, 2008. Leaves may not be disposed of at this location after this time.
