Presentation of Life Saving Commendations to Sgt. John Landis, Officer
Christopher Forbes and Officer Timothy Johnson, also to Paramedic Scott Henley,
Paramedic Joseph Hayes & EMT Andrew Foley of Central Bucks Ambulance Squad for
response to an event that occurred in Buckingham Township on September 11, 2008.
Presentation of Citation from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania House of
Representatives honoring Donald Naylor for 45 years of devoted service to
Buckingham Township
Presentation of Proclamation honoring Miles John Emil Gombosi for achieving the
rank of Eagle Scout.
Presentation of Proclamation honoring Ethan Thomas Quist for achieving the rank
of Eagle Scout.

Keep Buckingham Beautiful, Clean-up Days, October 11th and 12th, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bring your household trash to the Township Maintenance Building at 4991 Upper Mountain Road. There is a small fee for tires and items containing freon.
Buckingham Township Administrative Offices will be closed Monday, October 13, 2008 in celebration of Columbus Day.
Upcoming Park and Recreation Event: Friday, October 17th, Frank Sinatra Night at Buckingham Springs Club House, 7:00 p.m.
Election Day: November 4, 2008 - VOTE!
Buckingham Township’s Fall Leaf Waste Collection Program – Bags will be available between October 20th and November 26th at the township office, with pickups scheduled on November 10th and December 1st.
Henry Rowan received a Certificate of Appreciation for his outstanding contribution as a member of the US Route 202 Section 700 Community Task Force from the US Route 202-Section 700 Project Team.
3. Consideration of approving the Payroll for the week ending September 28, 2008 and the Bill List for the meeting of October 8, 2008.
4. Consideration of approving Supervisor’s Minutes of the September 10, 2008 and September 24, 2008 Regular Business Meetings.
5. Consideration of accepting various Departmental Minutes and Advisory Body Minutes.
6. 8:00 p.m. PUBLIC HEARING: Consideration of approving Conditional Use Application submitted July 22, 2008 by Cricket Communications, Inc. for the American Tower Corporation, Township File CU 2008-01, T.P. #6-18-152, 4776 Lower Mountain Road, 2.0 acres, in the AG-1Communication Overlay District 1, requesting to install a wireless communications service facility on an existing structure. (Continued from 9/10/08 Board of Supervisors meeting.)
7. PUBLIC HEARING: Ordinance No. 2008-03. An Ordinance of Buckingham Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Repealing and Reenacting a Provision of the Building Code.
8. Consideration of approving Resolution No. 2054, A Resolution of the Township of Buckingham, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Appointing a Township Manager.

Resolution of the Township of Buckingham, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Appointing
a Zoning Hearing Board Solicitor.

Consideration of approving Final Plan of Major Subdivision (plan dated 7/14/08) of the “McKernan Tract”, Township File SA 2007-01, submitted by Andersen Engineering Assoc., Inc. on behalf of Joseph McKernan and Chance Worthington, T.P. 6-18-91-2, New Hope Road / Durham Road, 16.35 acres, 3 lots, in the AG-1 Zoning District, with a 90-day review period expiration date of October 27, 2008.

12. Consideration of accepting Fulton Bank’s (Premier Division) extension to April 17, 2009 of the Certificate of Deposit No. 5046109 covering “Lookaway Golf Club’s Phase III Land Development”, Township File LD 96-05.
13. Consideration of re-approving the Revised Preliminary/Final Plan of Lot Line Change of the “First Baptist of Wycombe Church”, Township File SA 2007-05, due to the previous approval being over 90 days ago, in order that Record Plans may be signed.
14. Additional Business / Manager’s Items
Consideration of request from Bill and Robin Boger to waive both permit and escrow fees related to the temporary sign permit advertising the 3rd annual Brandon W. Boger Memorial 5K run/walk on October 18, 2008, with proceeds to benefit St. Mary Medical Center Trauma Unit in Newtown, PA.
