Buckingham Township is a Township of the second class as defined in the Second Class Township Code and enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Township is governed by a three member elected Board of Supervisors. Supervisors are elected at-large for a six year staggered term. The Board has both executive and legislative powers.
The Board of Supervisors is empowered to appoint professional staff to assist them in the daily operations of the Township and to provide counsel and advice on technical matters. Additionally, the Board appoints the members of the Township's advisory boards and commissions, including the appointments to the Zoning Hearing Board.
Meeting Schedule: 2nd & 4th Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m. / Work Sessions 2nd & 4th Wednesday 6:00 p.m.
