Historic Commission

The Buckingham Township Historic Commission was created in the early 1970's.

The Commission's mission is to:

Protect those historic buildings which have a character recalling the rich heritage of the Township, County, and Commonwealth; and promote the general welfare, education and culture of the Township by encouraging interest in its historical heritage.

Commission members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors for a three (3) year staggered term and serve on a voluntary basis. The Commission also has one member appointed for a life time term.

Meeting Schedule: 4th Thursday 7:30 p.m.

Term: 3 Year Term (7 Members + 1 Lifetime Member)
