Fencing
General Property Fencing Requirements:
- Maximum height for fencing is 6 feet.
- Fence can go on property lines with the following exceptions:
- If property is a corner lot, fence may not obstruct the clear site triangle
- If there are wetlands, easements, deed restricted open space or any other dead restrictions, fencing can go up to but not encroach into these areas.
- Fencing for pools & spas must adhere to the 2009 IRC requirements in addition to the required permit and inspections.
