Recognizing Eagle Scout Alexander Abbasi
A big thank you to Alexander Abbasi, a local Boy Scout and student-athlete, for his incredible Eagle Scout project at Hansel Park! Alexander raised funds, gathered volunteers, and built four fishing line disposal stations around the pond. These stations provide anglers with a safe and convenient way to dispose of used fishing line while helping protect wildlife and keep the park clean. At our recent Board of Supervisors meeting, we proudly recognized Alexander’s dedication and presented him with a proclamation honoring his achievement of the rank of Eagle Scout.
