Water & Wastewater Operator-in-Training
Buckingham Township is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our Water and Wastewater Operations Department as a Water & Wastewater Operator-in-Training. This is a full-time position offering hands-on experience and paid training toward Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) Water and/or Wastewater Operator Certification.
Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Water Superintendent, Wastewater Superintendent, and/or a certified Operator in Responsible Charge (ORC), the Operator-in-Training assists with the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of public water supply and wastewater treatment and collection systems. This position is ideal for candidates interested in a long-term career in the water and wastewater profession.
